Jill Kinloch/Advanced Swiss PGA Professional explains how you can improve your fairway bunker shots.

The main objective for a solid bunker shot is to clip the ball off the top of the sand. Essentially, there are three points to change in regards to a green side bunker shot:

1. Make sure that you have stable stance, but do not dig in as much as for a green side bunker shot
2. Hold you club a bit shorter than for a standard shot
3. Do not look at the back of the ball, instead focus on the top of the ball or even infront of the ball.
