Due to heavy rain on Friday, the tournament was suspended until Saturday (afternoon) and the final stage extended until Sunday. Since the rain continued on Saturday, the second round had to be played on Sunday. The officials therefore decided to shorten the tournament from 54 to 36 holes. No disadvantage for the only Swiss in the field, Phlilippe Weppernig.
