Successful take off into the new tour season
After the first five tournaments of the ProGolf Tour in Egypt and Morocco, Swiss PGA playing members Luca Galliano, Benjamin Rusch and Matthias Eggenberger have taken Top20 position in the tour's Order of Merit. Galliano and Eggenberger started the tour season with an excellent shared 3rd place at the Red Sea Egyptian Classic 2018. Benjamin Rusch achieved a top3 result at the Open Casa Green Golf 2018.

The Ladies Sunshine Tour in South Africa offered early season playing opportunities for our leading Swiss PGA Playing Proette. Valeria Martinoli showed very consistent results with her 3rd ranking at the Data Dimension Challenge. Other Swiss players competing in South Africa were Clara Pietri with various top 30 results, Nora Angehrn and Caroline Rominger.

The first tournament of the Staysure Tour (formerly European Senior Tour) took place at the Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club in the UAE. Paul Wesselingh started his season with a T30, while André Bossert finished on T36.
