Caroline Rominger - with clear strategy back to success!

C Rominger

After a unsuccessful season in 2016 and the missed Olympic dream, the goal for Caroline Rominger was clear: "Full attack!"

Caroline gained the full right to the European Ladies's Tour (LET) in 2016, but she was only qualified for five tournaments. She never got in the prize money, had to settle for the second-class LET Access Tour with a good 3000 Euros, and she drew the sporting and financial consequences: she forgoed the participation in the final qualification tournament, because she wpould have been only qualified for a few LET tournaments. The first five of the LET Access Tour, on the other hand, for which they are entitled to play, are in a better category.

This is the way she has decided to go in 2017 - also for financial reasons: the travel and hotel expenses on the big tour are simply too expensive. And on LET, a caddy is not compulsory, but still essential, which adds up to 700 Euros per tournament week.

The results to date at the LET Access 2017 proof the chosen strategy to be right. For the sixth time, she was already in the prize money. Her best result so far, with a tied 5th place at the Ribeira Sacra Ladies Open in Spain. With a solid performance (68/67/71), she was only 2 strokes behind the winner Emma Goddard (England).

Keep it up!
