ET Q-Schools: Girrbach in the Final Stage

Joel Girrbach continues his good season at the Challenge Tour with a solid performance at the European Tour Qualifying Schools. With his T14 result, playing four rounds under Par, he qualifies for next weeks' Final Stage.

The other participating Swiss PGA playing professionals missed the qualification. Benjamin Rusch had a good start into his tournament, however, was unable to continue his performance over four rounds. For Zenno Felder, Marco Iten and Nicolas Thommen it was important to gain additional Q-Schools experience.

The Final Stage takes place at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona from 12-17 November 2016 and will be played over six rounds, 108 holes, with the competitors playing two rounds on both the Stadium and Tour Courses at the Resort. After 72 holes, the field will be cut to the leading 70 players and ties who will play two further rounds over the Stadium Course. From those 70, the top 25 and ties will securing playing rights for the 2017 season.
